Scott and I chased the prairie sky all the way to Dry Island Buffalo Jump Provincial Park, where the Red Deer River carves a dramatic valley through ancient badlands — hoodoos, coulees, and colours that look painted on.

From 7 Tails Guest Ranch, it only takes a short wander down the road to stumble onto little treasures like this — a tiny roadside stand, a cooler full of fresh veggies, and a quiet box to drop your coins in.
