The Lakewood RV Resort campers certainly know how to celebrate a great season!

There was a fantastic turnout for the End of Season BBQ, bringing campers together to celebrate another wonderful summer at the lake. From relaxing days and beautiful lake views to plenty of laughter and special moments shared with friends and neighbours, it has truly been a season filled with wonderful memories.

While summer may be behind us, there are still a few beautiful weeks of camping ahead. We hope everyone enjoys the crisp fall air, changing colours and peaceful days by the lake as we make the most of the remainder of the season.

A big thank you to everyone who joined the celebration and helped make another wonderful season at The Lakewood RV Resort so memorable.

The Lakewood RV Resort Overnight Campers who are not quite ready to winterize their recreational vehicles are receiving a wonderful gift from Mother Nature this year with Southern Ontario experiencing a warmer and drier fall than normal. Autumn is a lovely time to camp at The Lakewood. Our tree canopy serves up a cornucopia of colors, a bench overlooking Lake Erie is an amazing spot to watch the sun rise or set, the clear night sky offers a stunning view and cooking over an open flame or embers makes everything taste better. Overnight camping is available into the fall, making it a great time to get outdoors, enjoy the fresh air, and take in the beauty of Lake Erie.

Our beach is looking beautiful, with lovely views and peaceful moments by the water.

Beautiful views, cooler evenings, so many reasons to spend time at the lake. 🍂🌅

Fall is a wonderful time for camping - great for getting outdoors, enjoying the fresh air and making the most of those beautiful lake sunsets.

Overnight camping is available into the fall at The Lakewood RV Resort, and we also have seasonal sites available for 2027.

Volunteers don’t get paid, not because they’re worthless, but because they’re priceless.

A hearty Lakewood thank you goes out to all our truly priceless volunteers who organized and supported so many wonderful events this season, including a rad ‘70s and ‘80s themed BBQ and dance party, a distinctly Canadian Canada Day celebration, Christmas in July, a vibrant Mexican Fiesta and dance, craft sale, meat draws and yummy pancake breakfasts, to name just a few. These events would not have happened without the amazing Social Committee and volunteers whose outstanding dedication makes the camping lifestyle so much fun.
