Planning to respray your site or interested in a first-time spider treatment?
Great Lakes Pest Control will be visiting The Lakewood RV Resort on July 8th to provide spider spraying services.

Cost: $50.00 (cash only)

Please visit the office to sign-up as spaces may be limited, so be sure to add your name if you’d like to participate.

The Lakewood RV Resort Campers: Iconic makes and models of cars wheel their way into Miller Park in West Lorne when the Optimist Club hosts its 2026 Show & Shine Auto Show on June 28 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Along with classic vehicles, the show and shine features door prizes, vendors, food trucks, a 50/50 draw and a hearty Optimist breakfast served up from 8-11 a.m. at The Pavillion. Step back to a time, campers, when Mustangs, Camaros, go-go boots, bell bottoms and The Twist were all pretty groovy.

🕷️ Tick Awareness for The Lakewood RV Resort Campers 🕷️

With summer adventures in full swing, it's important to be aware of ticks while enjoying the outdoors. Blacklegged (deer) ticks are present in our region and can carry Lyme disease.

To help protect yourself and your family:
✔️ Wear light-coloured clothing when hiking or exploring.
✔️ Use insect repellent containing DEET or icaridin.
✔️ Stay on marked trails and avoid tall grass when possible.
✔️ Check yourself, your children, and pets for ticks after spending time outdoors.

When doing a tick check, remember WHAT:
Waist, Hairline, Armpits, and Toes. Also check behind the knees and around the groin area. A few minutes spent checking for ticks can help keep your camping season safe and enjoyable. Have a great summer at The Lakewood RV Resort! ☀️

Father’s Day is coming to The Lakewood RV Resort — and we’re celebrating campground style!

Join us from 2:00–4:00 PM at the Pavilion for a fun afternoon of favourite band t-shirts and our Dad Joke Competition. Wear your favourite band tee and come ready with your best (or worst) dad joke. The more laughs and groans, the better!

Then at 7:00 PM, gather with fellow campers at the community fire pit for a Sing-a-long with Wayne Cobey and enjoy delicious S’Mores. Bring your lawn chair, sing along to your favourite tunes, roast marshmallows, and enjoy a great evening with friends and neighbours.
