Formerly this unique and historic properly was known and operated as the Harris Hatch Inn. The main house is a two story brick house, constructed in 1840. St. Andrews by-the-Sea was founded in 1783 and after the completion of the Algonquin Hotel in 1889, St. It is world renown for its buildings, its notable summer residents, and its place in Canadian history. Many of the original buildings, including the Harris Hatch, have stood the test of time and are listed under the Canadian Registry of Historical Places. Andrew and Karen Ludwig purchased the historic Harris Hatch in 2012 and are the owners/operators.
