Cleaner required for multiple (3) vacation rental cottages.
Cleanings per week: apx. 2-4
Cleaning experience preferred but willing to train.
To start as of the end of May 2022.
On a typical cleaning, you may be working either with another cleaner and/or eventually solo. Once on-site, we will provide a checklist to go through while cleaning so that you never have to guess at our expectations. If you are selected for an interview, we will have a checklist handy for you to preview before signing on, and we will try to have a copy of our cleaning schedule.
Since this is a contract position, we strongly encourage you to keep your gas receipts and mileage to claim these as expenses on your taxes.
We do not offer under-the-table, or untraceable payment methods.
We do our best to make our cleaners feel valued and properly compensated as we literally cannot operate without you! With that said, communication is key, if you are unhappy about something, tell us! As the season gets busier, we really can't afford no-shows as this could seriously damage our business.
We generally prefer to communicate over Facebook messenger, but this is not a hard requirement. We also use a well-supported and user-friendly task website for our cleaning schedule, which gives you real-time access to the schedule as well as plenty of notification options on job changes/new jobs as well as an option to sync with your phone's calendar if desired. If needed, we can also provide a hard copy. We are willing to provide support and training on the app as needed. We implement a minimum night-stay with our guests, as such you will always have a minimum 3-day notice for a cleaning in the shoulder season, and a minimum 5-day notice during the high season for new bookings.
