JJ's Retreat Hand Crafted Log Chalets in a Forest Setting of brooks, mature trees. and rocks. The Cabin's are bright and spacious and very comfortable.

Bring your camping gear and spend some peaceful time in a forest. Located in a quiet, forest like setting these unique Cabins are amazing. The 4 individually themed Cabins and a central, campground style Bathroom are on about 7 acres of land on a creek valley. It is heavily wooded and the Cabins are located with 70's Shack at the top of the valley; Lumberjack and Mike's on the main level with the bathroom; Pier 3 is in the bottom of the Valley by the brooks and pond.

Hi all, we regret to inform everyone that we are no longer offering short term rentals.
With the loss of Mike's Cabin we have decided to tighten security and reduce access. Monthly rentals will be considered individually. Cabins are available for monthly rental from May to the end of November and range from $1100- $1400/month.

It is with heavy hearts we report the total loss of Mike's Cabin early yesterday morning due to fire. The loss is irreplaceable, it was a favorite place away for many. Arson is highly suspected as we have been closed for 3 weeks and all power is off. We don't have any more information or leads, if you do please contact the RCMP or directly to Constable Peach in Pictou.

Hello fellow Campers! Fall is definately here and we even got lots of rain recently! So refreshing and beautiful. So pack up your camping gear and book a Cabin today. We are open until the end of November and have something open each day yet. Here are some pictures taken by one of our guests, Linda , just last week.

Cabins are $100/night based on 2 adults. Kids are free. Dogs love it too, the pet fee is only $20 per visit.

2 weeknights for $150 or 3 for $200
3 weekend nights for $250 and 1 week is only $500

A deposit of $50 is required to book, this is returned on good checkout.

The cabins are fully furnished, powered and have grey water sinks. There is a shared bathroom building a short walk away. These are camping cabins, so bring everything you need for camping other than your tent, airbed and cooler.
Cabins are $100/night based on 2 adults, kids are free. Pets Love it too !! There is a $20 pet fee per visit.

Well Christmas is just around the corner and we hope everyone has a great December this year! We still have a few spots open over the Holidays if you are still looking for an old fashioned Christmas. The cabins will be open from Dec 23rd to Jan 2nd, a spruce tree will be in each cabin for you to decorate if you choose. Stovewood and a load of campfire wood is included. The Bathroom buiding will not be open, guests will only have access to an outhouse during the winter. Still some openings for New Years as well.
Minimum 2 night rental required. Cabins are $250 for 2 nights or $325 for 3, based on 2 adults.

Here are a couple of new pictures from the Lumberjack and Mike's cabin. We are open until December 8th this year with openings on every day other than November 8th-11th.

If there is enough interest we are considering opening for Christmas through to New Years. We would like to do a xmas special that would include a fresh spruce tree ready for your decorations. 2 nights for $250 or 3 nights for $350 based on 2 adults. The bathroom building would be closed and there would only be an outhouse available. For New Year's we would like to offer the same rate of $250 for 2 nights.
