Got Bats? May is the time to act! The safest and most effective time to prevent bats from sharing your space is when they’re returning to their summer roosts and before their babies are born.

Bats play an important role in controlling insects, and if they’re not entering human-occupied areas of buildings, they can be beneficial neighbors. But if interior access points can’t be sealed and bats are getting into where humans are, there are options to get them to move out.

Humane eviction methods, like one-way exits, allow bats to leave safely while preventing them from returning and protecting both your home and local wildlife.

Always remember the following information to ensure the safe eviction of bats:
✔ Act early – May 1 to May 31
✔ A free permit is required
✔ Never trap bats inside
✔ We recommend working with a licensed nuisance wildlife control operator

Whether you’re into catching fish or fish facts, visit the Saskatchewan Fish Hatchery this year to learn about the work they do raising fish from egg to adult. The hatchery is open for tours seven days a week from May 1 to Labour Day. Just view a bunch of fish on your own or take a guided tour to hear about all the work that goes into stocking millions of fish in Saskatchewan waters every year.

Get all the information you need to plan your visit at https://www.facebook.com/SaskFishHatchery.

Our regional parks don’t run on their own they’re powered by people 🌲🏂

From staff and board members to volunteers, it’s the time, care, and dedication behind the scenes that make every trail, campsite, and even those freshly waxed snowboard runs feel ready to go. These folks are the heart and soul of our parks, and it shows in every season.

Is it cheaper to rent 2 weeks compared to 1 week? 💰
Great question! Weekly rates are the same, so 2 weeks isn’t cheaper than 1. If you’re planning a longer stay, the best value comes with our monthly or seasonal bookings 👍
