Jim + family, since 1947.

Jim Ulrich’s first Bayview photo is from 1947 — he was one. Twenty years later, he and Linda honeymooned here; fifty years after that, they came back to the very same cabin for their anniversary. The family stepped away for a while as people got older and moved south — but they’re back, and it means just as much to the newest generation.

Mildred started coming in ‘43 — that’s her and Earl outside the old Whip-Poor-Will cottage. The tradition never stopped. Bob and Debbie Osborne now own a place at the Cottages, and their daughter hasn’t missed a summer since ‘86, when she was one month old — still owns the t-shirt to prove it: ‘Bayview ‘95.’
