It was a busy week at The Valley Retreat!
- concrete slabs with in-floor heating got poured
- made a retaining wall at the front entrance
- got our new sign
- spruced up the ladder loft in the cabin, put railings on it and extra structural screws in the steps
- got the shower put together and the vanity in and assembled

We hope you join us on our journey as we build a year round glamp site on 8 acres in Sharbot Lake!

Each unit will have a full bathroom with a shower and standard toilet, a kitchenette for cooking, in-floor heat when it’s cold, air conditioning when it’s hot, a loft with a queen bed for stargazing, a king bed with a forest view and most importantly- a hot tub!

Located 75 minutes from Ottawa and Kingston, just a few minutes drive from Sharbot Lake with all the amenities of a small town, it’s the perfect getaway for couples and small families.

Launching early Summer 2026, follow along for updates as we develop the site and get ready to host you in a few short months!

Experience the seasons at The Valley Retreat - our accommodations will be outfitted with everything to keep you comfortable through all the seasons! Heated floors + a wood burning stove in the winter, air conditioning in the summer, and a hot tub at each unit for enjoyment all year round!
