🖤 A little peek at this gorgeous black tie wedding invitation. It was such a pleasure to work with Natalie and Tyler on these. Foil, illustration, wedding logo, belly band, and white ink addressing were all add-on options that the couple requested to one of my semi-custom suites. Choosing a semi-custom can allow you to play within your budget to add options like this and work with me to get the suite you envisioned for your most important day.

Some things you should know about wedding invitations!

❓Do you feel the need to hire a professional artist/designer for your wedding invitations and stationery?
I sure hope you do! ..
💌 Wedding invitations often get left out of the main part of the budget but are such an important piece. Why not create an heirloom that is unique to you as a couple and your wedding day. After all, your invitation suite is the first look into your wedding. You want to build excitement for your guests. I want them to ooh and ahh when they receive that envelope...
💲So let's talk about that budget. I recommend allocating 7-10% of your budget to invitations. Custom design is always on the higher end of this so if you have a smaller budget, look into semi custom options. What's the difference? Custom is one of a kind artwork and design just for you. Semi custom is a pre-designed suite that can be tailored to your wedding. Both are beautiful options, you should talk to a stationer and see what works best in your budget. ..
🤷 One more thing you may ask is, Why hire a stationer at all? Well there are a ton of good reasons... but here are just a few. 1. They have the experience, knowledge and design skills. (I've got 11 years in this business and I've honed my craft well! ) 2. Quality! We know the ins and outs from layout design to final print and everything in between. Creating a quality suite is something I'm pretty passionate about. 3. We save you time! (and possible headaches 😉) Hire a stationer and check those items off your list! ..
