We're so excited, it's Nova Scotia Giant Pumpkin Festival & Regatta weekend! So many events and vendors, it really is the best fall festival around. 🎃

We got in the spirit with our scarecrows Rory and Lorelai Ghoulmore 👻 - see if you can find them in the scarecrow contest (and maybe give us a vote when you do 😉)

Even though we are fully booked this weekend, we hope that you're able to get to Shelburne and see some of the festivities! And a huge thank you to the big team of people who make this event possible!

⛵️ **THE BLUENOSE II IS COMING TO SHELBURNE!** ⛵️

We’re excited to welcome Nova Scotia’s iconic **Bluenose II** to Shelburne! 💙⚓️

If you’ve been waiting for a chance to step aboard this legendary schooner, here’s your opportunity!

📍 **Shelburne Schedule**

⚓ **Sunday, August 30**
⛵ Open Decks at the Government wharf: **10:00 AM – 8:00 PM**
🏛️ Mobile Museum: **10:00 AM – 6:00 PM**

⚓ **Monday, August 31**
The vessel will be **closed for maintenance**, but the Mobile Museum will be open from **10:00 AM – 6:00 PM**.

⚓ **Tuesday, September 1**
👋 Bluenose II will depart Shelburne and is expected to **sail past the Sandy Point Lighthouse around 8:00 AM** — what a beautiful way to see her off!

✨ **Admission is FREE!**
There is **no cost** to visit the open decks or mobile museum, and **no pre-booking is required**.

A friendly reminder that parking at the inn is for guests ONLY.

The shuttle is a great way to avoid parking challenges and takes you right to where all the action is for Dock Street Days!

The Shelburne Events Committee is thrilled to once again partner with Sou'West Nova Transit to offer a FREE shuttle service during Dock Street Days 2026!

Skip the parking stress and let us get you to the heart of the festivities on the waterfront.

🗓 Shuttle Hours

Friday, July 17
🕔 5:00 PM until just after the fireworks

Saturday, July 18
🕚 10:45 AM until just after the Parade of Lights

📍 Pick-Up Location: Shelburne Fire Hall (King Street end – plenty of parking available-please do not park in the Fire Dept parking area)

📍 Drop-Off Location: Bottom of Rodney Lane – just steps from all the waterfront action!

The shuttle will run continuously between the two locations throughout the day, making it easy to come and go as you enjoy everything Dock Street Days has to offer.

This service is especially helpful for anyone who may find it difficult to park or walk longer distances, allowing everyone to enjoy the weekend's activities with greater ease.

A huge thank you to Sou'West Nova Transit for partnering with us once again to help make Dock Street Days accessible for everyone!
