Another Hey Days in the History Books!!!!

Thank you so much for everyone who stepped up to organize, participate, contribute and support all of the events this year!!!
We started with the Pancake Breakfast 🥞 then Ted had the opportunity to “speak loudly” 🎤 announcing the parade again, while myself, my sister and her son’s family got to drive our old cars in it!! 🚗
Then it was off to the car show, get ready for the 3rd Annual Ed Simonar Memorial Concert and make sure everyone was fed and watered!!!! In between we tried to get some family and friends visiting in!! What a great weekend!!! 💝🫶🏼💝

A BIG and SPECIAL THANKS to the entertainers at the concert!!!! Everyone enjoyed listening and dancing and we are so very grateful for your talents and your willingness to share them!!!

Jaye D Marie, Dale & Laura Budd, Ruby Larson, Orest Demyon, Morgan McNabb, Russ & Karen McNutt, Al Bosman and Carolyn Voss!!! All exceptional musicians/singers - we are super appreciative!!!

The Hey Day pamphlets are out!!!! We are so happy that our last minute change of location made the final edit on time!!

A big Thank You to the Shell Lake Events Committee for doing a splendid job in making this such a fabulous weekend year after year!!! We appreciate all that you do!!

This Saturday!!!!

The 3rd annual Ed Simonar backyard concert has changed locations this year! It will now be held in the Lion's Hall from 1:30-5pm. Come check it out and enjoy an afternoon of music, snacks, and a great time! 🎶

So many things happening in Shell Lake this weekend!!!!!

First and foremost - Thickwood Hills Studio Trail is happening right here at the Hometown Oasis Studio!!!
2nd - Sask Woodcarvers are giving Demos and showing their wares all weekend at the Gazebo!!
3rd - Shell Lake Mud Bogs is happening on Saturday!!
4th - White Cloud Trading has some great gift items
5th - The Chill Spot - Kimmy Foo & Co is serving ice cream snacks and SO MUCH MORE!!
6th - The Lark is serving their amazing meals!!! Rated one of the Best Restauraunts in Saskatchewan by the “Saskatchewan Eats - Good, Bad and the Ugly!!!”
7th - Also the SHELL LAKE MUSEUM IS OPEN 10/4 Saturday and Sunday - Come in for a small coin and read about our history.
8th - Pine Ridge Cottages has great coffee and Giftware!!!
And as always - The Mini Golf, Golf Course and The Beach are always open!!!
