Job Title: Resort Operations & Guest Services
Location: Aurora Skies Resorts
Position Type: Part-time/Full-time May to August (possibility to extend to winter)
Rate: $18-$22/hour based on experience
About the Role
Aurora Skies Resorts is looking for a dependable employee to help maintain our beautiful cabins and grounds and provide top-tier hospitality to our guests. We are looking for someone who is versatile and enjoys working independently and with others.
This role is ideal for someone who is driven, adaptable, takes pride in ownership, and is willing to learn new tasks.
Key Responsibilities
• Property Care: Keeping our grounds beautiful by mowing, weeding, watering, and harvesting from the garden. There are planned painting and staining projects to keep the cabins looking fresh.
• Housekeeping: Performing thorough property turnovers after guest check-outs, including deep cleaning and laundry management.
• Guest Services: Greeting guests, handling check-ins/check-outs, and managing requests.
• Office & Bookkeeping: Answering phones, managing bookings, taking payments, and performing light bookkeeping tasks to keep records organized.
Requirements
• Valid Driver’s License: Required for property travel and potential errands.
• Physical Stamina: Must be able to perform manual labor in various weather conditions and lift up to 50 lbs (laundry bundles, equipment, mulch, etc.).
• Willingness to Learn: A positive attitude toward learning new skills, from booking software to specific landscaping techniques.
• Work Ethic: Strong ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team. Attention to detail is a must.
• Professionalism: Friendly and organized, with a focus on providing excellent service to the general public
