Day 15 of our evacuation, the reality of what damages we may go home to are weighing on our minds. So far the lodge is still standing, but has taken some serious water so we may have to replace the roof and repair the out buildings.
We’re not sure what that looks like yet or how we’re gonna deal with the loss of the business this summer. With Covid, barely in our rearview mirror the recovery this far has been a struggle. This would’ve been the first year that we have had a complete turnaround and full bookings that we now have had to cancel for now 😞
We’re not sure how the fire has affected the fishery and the lake.
We are strong and resilient and will continue to persevere through this uncertain time, we thank all of our clients our friends and our family for reaching out and ensuring our well-being ❤️
Over 30 years ago Kenanow Lodge opened it doors focusing on great fishing a homey atmosphere and creating lifetime friends and memories.
We are reaching out for support, be it a hammer in hand, lumber or materials or a donation to help cover the repairs.
Unfortunately we did not have insurance to coverer the wildfire situation
