Great cause and a fun night out! Help us raise money for Station 106 so we can repower their big boat! This is a vital service to our lake. Dust off your muskets and and eye patches and please join us. Spread the word and bring some friends!

Sicamous Houseboats is hosting a Pirate Costume Party on Saturday, September 19, starting at 6:00 p.m. at the Sicamous Houseboats Marina.

Your $50 ticket includes:
🌮 Pirate’s Bounty Taco Bar
🍹 Rum punch welcome cocktail
🎶 Live music by the Angie Heinze Band
⚓ An awesome evening supporting our volunteer marine rescue station!

A cash bar will also be available, and pirate costumes are definitely encouraged. All proceeds from the event will go directly to RCMSAR Station 106 Shuswap, helping us continue Saving Lives on the Water.

That's a typical afternoon out here right now. But keep this one in your back pocket: the water stays warm well into September, and the crowds thin out fast once the kids go back to school.

Welcome to Sicamous. The Houseboat Capital of Canada.

Our little town sits right where Mara Lake meets Shuswap Lake, and it's been drawing boaters here for generations. Back in the 1970s, a handful of local operators started building and renting houseboats on the Shuswap, and the idea just took off. Decades later, we're still doing it, on the same water, with the same mountains watching over everyone who comes through.

What makes this lake system so special isn't just the size, it's the shape. Over 1,000 km of shoreline, endless arms and channels to explore, and a new hidden bay around every bend. You could spend a week out here and still not see it all.

That's the Shuswap. Same water that's been welcoming houseboats for 50 years, still waiting to be explored.
