Join us on Wednesday, July 1st, at Miywasin Ota Resort for a full day of fun, food, music, and community spirit!

🌞 10:00 AM – Campsite Brunch
All registered Miywasin Ota Resort guests are invited to start the day with a delicious brunch.

🎸 6:00 PM – Dusk
The Dirt Road Maniacs will be performing a FREE live concert for everyone to enjoy! Grab your lawn chairs and spend the evening with us by the lake.

🍔 Food canteen available on site from 6:00 PM until dusk.

🎆 Dusk – Fireworks Display
We'll wrap up the celebration with a fireworks show once the sun goes down.

Today, we honour Indigenous Veterans Day.

We remember and give thanks to the many First Nations, Métis, and Inuit men and women who courageously served in the Canadian Armed Forces—often travelling far from their communities, fighting for a country that did not always fight for them in return.

Their bravery, strength, and sacrifice remind us of the deep warrior spirit that lives on in our people. We carry forward their legacy with pride and gratitude, ensuring their stories are never forgotten.
