The Slave Lake Terry Fox Run is today at Schurter Park. Registration starts at 12:30pm and the Run starts at 1pm. Also at this location is Art in the Park happening 11am-4pm so it will be a busy location. Lots of time to enjoy Art in the Park and then join us for the Terry Fox Run! We still have space and we would love to have you join us!!
we have some fantastic new artists joining us as well as a few that you may have seen before, all with amazing works of art.
It is always a fun event and we have added a few different and special events... A bouncy castle for the kids! We have five 1.5 hr FREE mini -classes being offered for the adults. creating pictures with dried flowers, knitting, crocheting, writing class and bow making.
Of course the kids crafts are back thanks to the SL Rotary Club and we have 2 food trucks as well as an ice cream truck for us to enjoy!
Our live entertainment this year is Karley Bilskey and Will O'Donnell, as well as Susanne Campbell will have her piano students join us.
Aaand we are kicking off our mini-mural art competition with artists painting the garbage receptacles in Schurter Park.
You won't want to miss this family fun filled day!!
