Hope Bay Campground is open from May 1 through October 19, 2014. We are located northeast of Wiarton, on Georgian Bay and right on the Bruce Trail. Hope Bay Campground offers both seasonal and overnight camping steps from a beautiful sandy beach. Hike along the Bruce Trail, Mountain Bike, Kayak or Canoe on Georgian Bay or simply swim and sun at the beach. Start your day at our Store and enjoy a fr

Ice cream in October? You bet!! It’s looking like summer has returned and so have our homemade waffle cones and locally made Chapman’s ice cream. Stop by the Hope Bay Campground store this afternoon between noon and 4:00pm to re-live the oh so sweet taste of summer.

Hold on to your broomsticks, things are about to get scary at the Hope Bay Campground! Yes, Halloween in the Park is today! Kids who are camping with us are invited to participate in Craft time at the store at 10:00am, and then Trick or Treating will be happening between 6:00pm and 7:00pm. More information is provided on the blackboard outside the washrooms. We hope that all you kids have a skele-ton of fun!

Summer may be winding down, but the fun doesn’t have to! Campers at the Hope Bay Campground are invited to take part in the many activities we are offering this Labour Day weekend:
Saturday, August 30th
10:00am: Kids Halloween Crafts at the Store
6:00 to 7:00 pm: Halloween (Trick or Treating) in the Park
Sunday, August 31st
6:00pm: Co****le Tournament - please sign up in advance at the store, spaces are limited to 24 players and teams will be created at random.

Starting Friday, we will be selling tickets for a 50/50 raffle in the campground store. (All proceeds from 50/50 draws go to the Social Committee so that events like Kids Crafts can be offered to our young campers free of charge.) The winning ticket will be drawn at the Co****le Tournament Sunday night.

Enjoy them plain, with gravy or everyone’s favourite. . . smothered in poutine! Bring your appetite and get ‘em while supplies last!

Everyone who has visited Hope Bay agrees that it’s a truly beautiful part of the Bruce Peninsula! In addition to the memories that you take back home, we also have a new shipment of souvenirs of your time in Hope Bay. We have shirts, hoodies, jackets, charcuterie boards and more! Stop by the Hope Bay Campground store to check out all our new merch! We are open Sunday thru Thursday from 10am until 8pm and Friday & Saturday from 10am until 9pm.

Love is in the air at the Hope Bay Campground this Civic Long Weekend! We’re running a new event on Saturday night . . . the Newlywed Game❤️ “Who is most likely to ask for directions when lost?” “Who is the worst at keeping a secret?” Bring your spouse/partner/better half and show us how well you know each other🥰. Please sign up in the campground office in advance. There will even be prizes!
But there’s still more happening this weekend . . . we’re also running:
1. Kids Crafts on Saturday at 10am in front of the store.
2. Our second Co****le Tournament of the season! The first bag will be thrown at 7:00pm on Sunday night. In order for us to plan for the tournament, please sign up in advance at the campground store.
3. A 50/50 draw! Tickets are $2 each or 3 for $5 and will be sold in the campground store from Friday to Sunday night. The draw will take place immediately following the Co****le Tournament. You do not need to be present to win.
All campers are invited to take part in our activities! For more details on these events, be sure to check out the blackboard at the campground.
