YMCA John Island Camp 70th Anniversary Reunion Join us for our 70th Anniversary! It’s hard to believe that our beloved YMCA John Island Camp is nearing its 70th anniversary.

John Island Camp is celebrating its 70th Anniversary in 2024 with a 70th Reunion! We owe the success and cherished memories of the camp to our wonderful community of alumni that has grown over the years. We will be celebrating this incredible milestone on May 24-

25, 2024. There will be a small social event on May 24 for those arriving early, followed by a trip to YMCA John Island Camp on May 25 (weather permitting) and a gala in the evening at the SteelWorkers’ Union Hall & Conference Center. We kindly ask that you RSVP by May 3, 2024. You can do so online (http://tiny.cc/JIC70thregistration), emailing [email protected], or calling 705-923-7541. We are holding our annual pre summer Open House in June 27th from 10am to 3pm!! If you were not able to attend the 60th open house to see the site or you have a camper who wants to check the place out before coming this summer feel free to stop by and pay us a visit.

Boats run from 10-3 and no RSVP is needed.

Open House at John Island Camp - Today September 14th, 2014 **No ticket is required for the open house-open to all ages!
10:00am-3:00pm

Info you need to know about the Open House:

Boats will be running between the hours of 10am-3pm at Walkhouse Bay docks.
Carpooling is strongly encouraged due to limited parking at Walkhouse.
Food and refreshments will be provided
Activities will be open for families to participate in – Don’t forget your swim suit for Polar Bear dip!
Alumni are encouraged to wear their camp t-shirt!
