• Proof of insurance and helmets are required while driving ATV’s
• A previous hunting license from your state or country is required to obtain a hunting license in Ontario. Hunting and Fishing Licenses are available at Bob’s Service Centre, Spanish, Ontario.
• Shotguns and rifles in your possession must be unloaded and encased when being transported in Canada. Absolutely no handguns allowed in Canada. Non-Residents must register their guns with Canadian Customs at the border. Click the link to access form #5589 http://www.rcmp.gc.ca/cfp-pcaf/form-formulaire/pdfs/5589-eng.pdf. You can fill this form out in advance but do not sign until at the border crossing. If you have any questions, please call 1-506-624-5380. Fee $25.00
• Entering Canada from the U.S.A. proof of citizenship is required and proof of auto insurance if driving. DON’T FORGET YOUR PASSPORT AND PREVIOUS HUNTING LICENSE
Additional Helpful Information
• Our fall hunt will run from 16 August and runs for 4 weeks. Check-in will be Sunday 2:00 p.m. through to the following Sunday with check-out 10:00 a.m.
• An export permit is required to take your Bear back to the United States. This is available at Bob’s Service Centre, Spanish, Ontario at a cost of $35.00 (2007 rate). What to Bring for Your Hunt
