On June 15, Patricia will celebrate an extraordinary milestone—50 years of dedicated service with the Holiday Inn St. John’s Conference Centre. Few individuals can claim a career spanning five decades with one organization, and even fewer have left such a lasting impression on an entire industry.
Patricia has spent her entire 50-year career at the same property, becoming a true cornerstone of the hospitality and tourism community in St. John’s. Her commitment to excellence, unwavering professionalism, and genuine passion for serving guests and clients have helped shape countless successful conferences, meetings, and events over the years.
Currently serving as Sales Coordinator, Patricia’s career journey reflects both her versatility and deep understanding of hotel operations. Throughout her tenure, she has held numerous positions including accounting clerk, reservations agent, payroll administrator, yield management specialist, and banquet coordinator. Her broad experience has given her an unparalleled knowledge of hospitality, tourism, and event management in our city.
Generations of event planners, meeting organizers, and industry partners know Patricia by name, and one of the most common questions heard from returning clients is, “Is Patricia still there?” That question alone speaks volumes about the relationships she has built and the trust she has earned over the years.
