Meet Rokiat, our fantastic Housekeeping Supervisor who keeps everything running like clockwork! Originally from Nigeria, she’s in her third year of Political Science and has her sights set on becoming a corporate lawyer – she loves the idea of negotiating and making deals. ⚖️

Outside of work and classes, Rokiat enjoys reading, playing basketball, going on adventures with friends, travelling, and (when she needs to recharge) relaxing in her room. Her favorite spot in St. John’s? Water Street – thanks to its endless restaurants, cozy cafés, and fun things to do!☕🍽

She says the best part about working with Guest Accommodations is meeting new people and teaming up with her amazing coworkers – especially her incredible housekeeping team! 💙

That’s a wrap on our 2025 season!

It may have been shorter than usual due to the Canada Games, but it was one of our busiest — and most exciting — seasons yet. 🙌

Thank you to everyone who stayed with us and made this summer unforgettable.

Today, we officially shift into Games mode 🏅 — many athletes have already arrived, and we’re thrilled to welcome even more in the coming days!

Opened as a museum in 1988, it showcases over a century of pharmaceutical artifacts, from antique bottles to ornate show globes. Step inside and explore how healthcare evolved right here in Newfoundland — a must‑visit for history buffs and curious minds alike! ✨

Say hi to Annalise Simms, one of our amazing part-time Breakfast Attendants and Housekeeping Associates! Born and raised in Newfoundland, Annalise is currently in her second year of General Studies and plans to pursue a career in Social Work.

When she’s not helping guests start their mornings off right or keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes, you can probably find her hiking or swimming – two of her favorite ways to enjoy the outdoors. Her top spot? Salmon Cove Sands! 🏖️

Annalise says the best part about working with Guest Accommodations is meeting new people, working with the team, and all the great friendships she’s made along the way. 💛

Meet Trinity Schreuer, our awesome Breakfast Attendant from Canada! She’s going into her third year of Psychology at Memorial and brings so much kindness (and creativity!) to our team. When she’s not serving up breakfast with a smile, you’ll probably find her out hiking or playing tennis. 🎾⛰️

Her favorite spot in St. John’s? The Sugarloaf Path along the East Coast Trail — the views are incredible.

This is Trinity’s second summer working with Guest Accommodations, and she’s the creative mind behind our now-famous “Suggestion Wall” in the breakfast room — a fun way for our staff and guests to interact and share ideas. ✨

She loves working alongside other students and meeting guests from all over the world. If you see her in the morning, don’t be shy — she’s always up for a friendly chat! ☀️

Meet Kirsten Enriquez, one of our amazing Housekeeping Associates from the Philippines! She’s heading into her third year of Business at Memorial, and when she’s not reading, gaming, hiking, or kayaking — she’s probably catching up on sleep or cracking a joke that has the whole team laughing.

Her favorite place in St. John’s? Cape Spear — especially when she’s on the lookout for whales! 🐋 And when it comes to work, Kirsten says the vibe with her coworkers is unmatched. “The chemistry is off the chart! We can work with anyone and still be super efficient.” 💫
