The Lewis Hills are found at the north eastern tip (the “beginning”) of the Appalachian Mountain system which stretches across the entire eastern side of the North American continent. These hills are more like mountains; with the highest peak in Newfoundland at 814 meters (2,674 feet) named the Cabox.
