Days Inn & Suites Strathmore looking for a Full & Part Time front desk agent & Night Auditor to join our team.
Responsibilities:
• Maintain inventory of vacant rooms, reservations and room assignments.
• Ensures that all guests are made to feel welcome upon arrival & during their stay.
• Process check-ins and check-outs in a friendly, courteous, timely manner.
• Print necessary reports required for each shift.
• Review arrivals list and ensure special requests are honored.
• Provide a high level of customer service to ensure Guest Satisfaction & 100% Guarantee
• Gives personal attention, takes personal responsibility and uses teamwork when providing customer service.
• Ensure that all vital information is passed on to the next shift to guarantee smooth transition from one shift to the next.
• Prepare housekeeping report according to desk procedures.
• Knowledgeable about different room types and all hotel services and amenities.
• Handle guest concerns and questions in a polite and professional manner.
• Responds to guest inquiries and works with other departments to meet these requests.
• Use professional phone manner when speaking with guests and outside callers, and deal with calls accordingly
• Answer and respond to reservation calls in the absence of the reservations office.
• Be aware of the procedure and precautions regarding fire, health and safety.
• Perform all duties in a safe manner according to established safe work practices.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the Front Office area.
Qualifications:
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English; verbal and written.
• Great customer service & problem resolution skills.
• Well organized with good cash handling skills.
• Punctual, reliable, & able to work cooperatively with other associates.
• Previous Customer Service experience is a valuable asset.
• Must have a passion for providing the highest level of customer service to all of our guests.
