REMINDER

As seasonal yard clean-ups get underway, the Municipality would like to remind residents that the burning of yard waste is strictly prohibited under Strathroy-Caradoc By-law No. 17-12.

As an alternative to burning, leaves and yard waste are accepted free of charge at both municipal transfer stations. Learn more about transfer station schedules at www.strathroy-caradoc.ca/transferstations.

Open air burns are permitted in rural areas of the Municipality only. No permit is required, but prior authorization is required by the Strathroy-Caradoc Fire Department dispatch centre. Information can be obtained and permission granted by calling 519-245-1300 and speaking with Strathroy-Caradoc Fire Dispatch.
