Harvest Moon Guest House
Harvest Moon Guest House is a designated Heritage Home 'The Coulter White House'. Gilbert James Coulter White and his wife Mary Elizabeth owned this home in 1915. James Gilbert was a respected member of the Summerland community. The Coulter White's opened their home during the war to vets either diagnosed with or recovering from tuberculosis. They built an additional home

for their family on the same property amid the orchard of pear tGilbert James owned much of the property around the house and ran his own orchard there. While essentially being a working farm house the design reflects the classic charm of the early 1900s. Built on higher ground with a huge upper and lower veranda, the house overlooks the orchards and wineries below and the panoramic view of the Okanagan Lake and Naramata beyond. To this day, it’s been completely restored to a classic early 20th century charm enhanced with touches of modern living. Today it lends it's charm and beauty to those who wish to share a piece of history while basking in the quiet elegance as guests of the Harvest Moon Guest House.
