The Garden Cottage could not have been more lovely. It contained everything that we needed and was adorable and comfortable! Cheryl and Robert were welcoming hosts and took excellent care of us.

Cottage available for winter rental. Could be a yearly rental for the right fit. Available Oct. 15th 2024
One , bedroom, two story winterized, furnished country cottage. Centrally located in Bedeque. 10 minutes to Summerside & 40 minutes to Charlottetown.
Full bathroom with clawfoot tub, shower, and pedestal. sink. Full kitchen with 4 burner stove, microwave, coffee maker, fridge, and dishwasher, no oven.
Queen bed, propane fireplace. Country hobby farm in Bedeque.
Very clean cottage. Suitable for 1 mature adult or couple.
Rent $1,100. Message us if interested.
Non smoking property. One pet may be considered.

Bugaboo Cottages has been a popular winter getaway for many folks for the past 29 years.

This year 2024, we are trying something new, to help us decide if it is worth keeping our Country Garden cottage open for the whole winter. It costs quite a bit to keep the heat on so they don’t freeze up.
If enough folks book their getaway early we will be able to keep it open. If not we will close it up for the winter.
Book early to get your preference of nights. If we don’t get enough early bookings to stay open you will be fully refunded.
Starting October 15th through April 30th when you book ahead we are offering a special rate.
Sundays-Thurs. $125.00 plus HST for 2
Friday & Saturdays $ 145.00 plus HST for 2
If more than two, up to 4 persons $20.00 per each extra person
There is a small loft that you climb a ladder to. It has 2 air mattresses. And a pullout sofa. It is a small cozy cottage.
This favorite little cottage is the cutest thing going. So many great reviews.
This historic wellhouse is now a sweet one bedroom cottage. Quilted queen bed with quality linens. People tell us all the time how great they slept in the bed!
Full kitchen and bath. Clawfoot tub/shower
Propane fire keeps it nice and cozy. Pullout sofa to watch a movie.
Just steps away from the large, well maintained outdoor hot tub. Located on the deck of the main house, under a lit up gazebo. You will have it to yourself.

Centrally located in Bedeque. Kinkora is 5 min. Away where you can have a cozy meal at O'Sheas Pub and eatery. Summerside is just a 10 min. drive. See a show at the Harbourfront Theater or the College Of Piping, then spend a cozy night in the cottage.
Go to one of the many fall craft fairs, do your Christmas shopping in Summerside, then back to the cottage to relax in the hot tub.
Baba’s Kitchen in the village of Bedeque, is a hidden Gem for a breakfast you won’t forget!
Note: It is a short walk from the parking area to the tucked away cottage.
We are a non-smoking property. If you must smoke, it must be at your vehicle.
Payment is required at the time of booking, via E transfer. We are a family owned and operated Island business for 29 years. We are on Airbnb and Boking.com if you prefer to book that way. But the special offer is through booking direct.
Non refundable unless we can’t justify staying open. You would be fully refunded. In case of bad weather we will try to find you another night.
