Please be advised the Township of Strong’s fire rating has changed to HIGH!

This means no open air burning is permitted, camp fires allowed for cooking and warmth only!! Camp fires for cooking and warmth must adhere to all regulations in the Open Air Burning By-law. As well fireworks are not permitted during a high rating under the Open Air Burning By-law.

Rating Change!
Effective immediately (May 14,2025) the fire rating has increased to HIGH.
No non-recreational fires are permitted.
If you’re having a camp fire exercise extreme caution and adhere to all open air burning rules.

Reminder for campfires:
~ Fire must be under constant supervision
~ Wind speeds must not exceed 20km/h
~ Campfires must not exceed 2’X2’
~ Campfires must be minimum of 20’ from
combustible objects or structures.
~ adequate means of suppression must be
immediately available

Just wanted to remind everyone that May 15 is the offical opening day :)

Leading up to this date, we are hard at work to get all the water going and hydro running. It was a late thaw this year but not to worry as we will be ready to go May 15.

Please see attached the flyer that is posted showing information for this coming Saturday’s Christmas in July.
If you are dropping off a gift, please drop it off at the store Friday or Saturday morning and please ensure to put the childs full name and lot number on the gift. If you have multiple gifts, please put them all together in a large bag so they remain together. Any further questions, please contact the office.

Once the ban is lifted as per below, please remain cautious when burning, never leave a fire unattended and make sure a fire is fully extinguished before heading inside.
