Step back in time at one of Nova Scotia’s hidden gems and experience our railway heritage brought back to life with accommodations, dining, shopping & entertainment all in one historic location. Our unique accommodations are vintage Canadian-built cabooses & boxcars, authentic on the outside, redesigned and developed into private deluxe suites on the inside with reflections of their railway past t

hroughout. Our guests can also enjoy local craft beers & meads from our Baggage Room Bar and live music nights on our railway platform. During your visit, our 565 foot & 400-ton train remains a dominating sight to see within the village of Tatamagouche as you experience our property or stroll along the old rail bed (now the Trans Canada Trail) that meanders alongside our not so forgotten railyard.

📚 Bored? We have books.

😮 Curious? We have books.

🍽️ Hungry? …still mostly books, sorry.

We’ve unpacked a bunch of new arrivals this week, with something for just about everyone:

✨ Thrillers
✨ Romance

✨ New toys and gifts

Basically, if you’re looking for a new adventure, we’ve probably got you covered.

If you’re looking for a sandwich… we’re not going to be able to help with that (but we can recommend a good cookbook 😉).

Victoria Day is a time to reflect on Canada’s enduring connection to the Crown and the traditions that shape our history. 👑🍁

As we mark the occasion, we also look ahead to the installation of the 31st Governor General, the Honourable Louise Arbour.

Wishing everyone a wonderful Victoria Day! 🕊️
