Its the last weekend of the summer and that means our last Staff Sunday this season.

This week we're saying thank you to Dave, our Superintendent! Dave is a part of everything we do here at the park. Organizing, planning and coordinating staff across departments. We'll let Dave summarize his experiences with Ontario Parks over the years...

"This is my 19th summer working with Ontario Parks, and I continue to feel incredibly fortunate. Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to work in some of the most beautiful parts of the province—including Samuel de Champlain, Driftwood, French River, Killarney, Restoule, Mikisew, and the Temagami group of provincial parks.

Each season brings the chance to connect with amazing staff and visitors. Seeing people recreate and build meaningful connections with these ecologically significant places—while doing so sustainably—makes the work truly meaningful."

If you happen to see Dave around the park, give him a wave and say hi!
