🎣 Whitesand Regional Park Fishing Update 🎣

While water levels are receding, they remain above normal. The benches and docks are still partially underwater.

If you plan on fishing, please proceed with caution. Boat launching is at your own risk due to the current water conditions.

We appreciate your patience and cooperation as we continue to monitor the situation.

PUBLIC SAFETY NOTICE – Boat Launch & Fishing Area Closed

Due to the recent heavy rainfall and rising water levels, the boat launch and public fishing area at Whitesand Regional Park are temporarily closed.

The cement benches and docks are completely under water, making the area unsafe for public use.

We appreciate your understanding and patience as we wait for water levels to recede. We will provide updates as soon as it is safe to reopen.

🇨🇦 Canada Day Celebration Cancelled 🇨🇦

Unfortunately, due to the forecast calling for even more rain all weekend, we have made the difficult decision to cancel our Canada Day Celebration on June 27th.

Thank you to everyone who volunteered and helped plan the event. We truly appreciate all of your support.

We hope for better weather and look forward to seeing everyone at future events at Whitesand Regional Park!

Update: Fire Ban is no longer in effect . Thank for your cooperation!

The Rural Municipality (RM) of Insinger is currently under a fire ban in Saskatchewan which includes Whitesand Regional Park.
The ban prohibits open fires, controlled burns, and fireworks in the designated area. The fire ban was issued on May 29, 2026 and is effect until further notice. Thank you for your cooperation!
