Moments of fall around Northern Skies Resort | Ecotourism Destination 🍁

We had such an awesome time at the Wiisinidaa Final Feast put on by Walk Among The Trees this past weekend.

We learned about Anishinaabe traditional farming practices, seed saving and trading in our area. We had incredible food including fish tacos, wild rice, chili and bannock by Irene's.

We met cool people who also shared their knowledge with the group.

And we were invited to harvest the corn and braid it to prepare it to harvest seeds for next season.

Chi Miigwetch to the organizers for putting on such a welcoming, informative and delicious event!
