Reporting to the Guest Services Supervisor and Hotel General Manager, our Night Auditors help to make positive impacts throughout the hotel operation by ensuring that our guests have a memorable experience each time they stay with us. They are responsible for performing basic front desk duties, reviewing the hotel guest leger, balancing payments, and attending to all guest inquiries and needs on the overnight shift. Successful Night Auditors obtain the ability to provide great levels of customer service, demonstrate initiative, and demonstrate the ability to maintain productivity with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities:
• Working from 11:00pm-7:30am weekly, this position works at the front desk preparing reports and logs, completing guest check-ins and checkouts, and answers and responds to any guest inquiries.
• Providing personalized service to our guests to ensure the delivery of an exceptional experience and stay.
• Ensuring guests are aware of hotel promotions, amenities, and procedures.
• Upholding quality standards for the front office, including verifying reservations and accounts for completeness, ensuring special billing instructions are noted, collecting methods of payments, and accurately processing guest accounts.
• Efficiently and professionally respond to all incoming communications including in-person, email, and telephone.
• Promoting safety awareness by following safe work procedures and reporting any unsafe conditions, practices or injuries and following reporting protocols.
• Assisting with cost control management by contributing ideas and suggestions to reduce costs and/or increase revenue potential.
• Communicating with other team members and other departments to coordinate exceptional guest service, while actively recording and communicating any concerns to management.
• Conducting other relevant duties assigned.
Key Requirements:
- Must have the ability to communicate effectively with guests, co-workers, and management.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Great problem-solving skills.
- Experience preferred, but not required.
Schedule:
• 8.5-hour shifts
• Overnights
• Friday and Saturday
