9 Ontario FireRanger crews continue to respond to wildland fire Timmins 9, which is located approximately 10 kilometres north of Gogama, 8 kilometres west of Highway 144, and 14 kilometres west of Mattagami First Nation. It currently measures 384 hectares. Aerial fire suppression teams worked throughout the afternoon Monday, supporting crews on the ground.

The camp is awake, the days are longer, and another season of memories is waiting to be made.

May kept us busy with preparations, projects, and checking off what felt like a never-ending to-do list. Now it's time to slow down just enough to enjoy the early mornings, campfires, lake views, and everything that makes life at Big Bear Camp so special.

Whether you're joining us this season or following along from home, welcome to June at Big Bear Camp. Here's to sunshine, adventure, laughter, and making the most of every day.

May has been a whirlwind—camp duties, new routines, a million things to do, unpredictable weather, and a big birthday celebration. Busy, messy, memorable, and somehow it all got done!
