Water Safety Alert! 🌊🧊

The water may look tropical, but it is cold! The current water temperature is about 6 degrees Celsius in Georgian Bay near Tobermory. Cold shock and hypothermia will happen quickly, so be very cautious if you’re around the water.

After this weekend’s ice storm, cell reception has now been restored so our staff living on site could send a quick update and these photos (still no power though - thank goodness for woodstoves!). Mother Nature sure was showing off her strength; such beautiful destruction. We are always sad to lose previously healthy trees, but thankful that everyone is safe and miraculously the damage to trailers/structures appears to be very minimal.

We sure do have our work cut out for us for spring clean up this year!
