BEST TIPS TO VISIT TOBERMORY
Planning a trip to the area? Swipe through for our essential travel tips to keep your vacation smooth, safe, and stress-free!

1️⃣ Make parking reservations in advance.
You need a reservation to visit the Grotto, beaches, and the lighthouse in Tobermory. Don't risk missing out on these iconic spots. Book ahead!

2️⃣ Fuel up before arriving.
Fill your tank in Ferndale (coming from the South) or Manitoulin Island (coming from the North). There is currently no open gas station in Tobermory.

3️⃣ Plan ahead for meals & shops.
Many shops and restaurants close early. There is only one grocery store in town, and it closes at 6 PM every day.

4️⃣ Bring water shoes!
If you are looking to hike, water shoes are a must in Tobermory. The trails and shores are very rocky.

5️⃣ Stay at Tobermory Village Campground.
We are strategically located near all main attractions, plus we have lots of amenities you can enjoy right here on site!

6️⃣ Relax!
Forgot a little something? Our campstore is stocked with all the essentials to keep your trip on track. Firewood, ice, toothbrushes, Tums—you name it, we’ve got you covered!
