Parking Reservations Now Required at Big Tub Lighthouse, both in the Parking Lot and along the Road, in Tobermory, ON – Effective July 8.

Please be advised that parking reservations are now required for the Big Tub Lighthouse parking lot and on-street in Tobermory, Ontario.

Starting today, July 4, you can reserve your parking spot for visits on or after July 8. To ensure you have a spot and help manage traffic in this popular area, we encourage all visitors to book in advance.

Chi-Cheemaun’s 2023 Sailing Season will begin May 5, 2023. Complete schedule and fares are being finalized and will be available soon. Reservations for the 2023 season will open mid-March, both online and by telephone. We look forward to welcoming back onboard special events this coming season! Stay tuned for more details.

❗️ Holiday Weekend Alert ❗️

Grotto parking passes and Cyprus Lake campground are completely booked for the holiday weekend. Other first-come, first served parking lots are expected to fill early each morning. Once parking lots are full, there is no access to shoreline, hiking trails or picnic areas in the park.

To avoid disappointment, plan in advance.

The Grotto and Halfway Log Dump are popular destinations; parking spots fill up months in advance.

Reservations are required for parking at the Grotto (April 30 – Oct 31) and at Halfway Log Dump (June 17 – Sept 25).
