Last week we took on the Big Tree Trail on Meares Island, and it’s safe to say it’s worth adding to your Tofino bucket list. Ancient cedars, lush rainforest, and one of the most iconic walks on the coast.

We're not the only ones getting excited for storm season!!

As we approach September my thoughts turn to storm season on the west coast of Vancouver Island. It's one of my favourite things to capture and one of the thrills of living out here. Here's a shot from a huge storm a few years back. The one that was widely referred to as a Bomb Cyclone. Taken near Big Beach In the middle-ground is the Mystery Shipwreck
