Jose has been part of the hospitality industry for more than 30 years, including an incredible 23 years at Anndore House. A true pillar at the front desk, Jose is known for his positive attitude, welcoming smile, and dedication to providing outstanding service to every guest, no matter how busy the day gets.

What Jose enjoys most about working in hospitality is meeting new people and learning about different cultures from around the world. His favourite travel destinations are Bahrain and Dubai in the Middle East, and one place he hopes to visit one day is Spain.

This , we're highlighting the exciting progress of the new Le Méridien Pinnacle, a brand-new hotel currently being built in downtown Toronto! 🏗️✨

The GTHA team had the opportunity to take a hard hat tour of the future property with General Manager Basem Sidhom. It was exciting to get a behind-the-scenes look at this new build and see the vision for the property coming to life as construction progresses.

We look forward to following along with the continued development of this beautiful new addition to Toronto's hospitality landscape and can't wait to see it welcome guests in the not too distant future! 🌆

Yesterday, we brought our hotel and partner community together for our GTHA Summer Social at Lost Craft Brewery in the Canary District!

A big thank you to everyone who came out, even with a little rain! We had such a great time connecting, sharing insights, and making new connections across Toronto's hospitality community.

Join us as we celebrate the 13th Annual GTHA Spirit Awards on Friday, November 13, 2026, at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre.

Nominations close Friday, September 25 at 11:59 PM. Late submissions will not be accepted, so be sure to submit your nominations before the deadline!
