Dundonald House

Dundonald House A Memorial to a Toronto Landmark Welcome to our Facebook site created to remember Toronto's longest run and most loved Gay Bed and Breakfast.

Dundonald House has been a landmark and a welcomed respite for many travellers to Toronto's gay village. If you've ever stayed here, we encourage you to like this page, share your memories and invite others to do the same. In the fall of 2015, Dundonald House will be demolished and, in its place a high rise apartment will be erected. While many of us feel a sense of loss of this community icon, we

are grateful for the chance to have not only experienced this beautiful building, but the kind and generous owners, Dave and Warren. Thank you for visiting.

Official closing is August 1st. It's been a wonderful time here in the village. The old girl will no longer stand, but her memory will linger in our hearts, memories and in a new website soon to be launched commemorating 35 Dundonald Street.
