Supporting our community, one donation at a time. 💙

Our Shorelines Casino Thousand Islands team recently donated more than 10 boxes of groceries and $5,000 to The Gananoque and Area Food Bank in support of the All Hands on Deck Food Drive.

We’re proud to continue supporting the Food Bank and the important work they do in our community.

Great Blue Heron Casino & Hotel recently hosted a Safer Gambling Awareness Day alongside the Youth Gambling Awareness Program, OLG, and the Responsible Gambling Council - RGC's PlaySmart OLG program, connecting with more than 480 guests.

The event brought guests, team members and community partners together around a shared commitment to safer gambling. A special shout-out to our Safer Gambling Champions, Colin Wepener and Rachel Milne, for their leadership in helping make the day such a success.

We recently celebrated the opening of a new PlaySmart Centre at Shorelines Casino Thousand Islands alongside our partners at OLG, the Responsible Gambling Council and the PlaySmart team.

The event was an opportunity to recognize the collaboration that continues to strengthen responsible gambling across our destinations and communities. In his remarks, General Manager Dale Deane thanked our partners for their continued collaboration and recognized the ongoing support of our host communities, the Town of Gananoque and the Township of Leeds and the Thousand Islands.

The new PlaySmart Centre builds on that commitment by providing guests with a dedicated, welcoming space to learn about gambling, access helpful tools and resources, and make informed choices about their play. Together, we are continuing to create an environment where responsible play is supported, informed and part of the guest experience.
