Today, we joined OPSEU/SEFPO L358 @opseu.local361 OPSEU Local 511 - dedicated development service workers in our communities! Over 4000 workers who provide care and supports to the our vulnerable community members are either locked out or on strike throughout Ontario!
The services they provide are at risk due to persistent underfunding and insufficient staffing, and these workers have had their wages stolen as a result of lack of remedy for Ford’s unconstitutional Bill 124 - they are Worth Fighting For!

Join ONDP as they explore workplace efforts to ensure the safety of survivors of intimate partner violence (IPV) and gender based violence (GBV). What can be done to support survivors when they disclose, and what challenges do workers face when seeking help on the job?

Our conversation will cover what employers can and should do to support workers and how legislation can help make workplaces safer.
There will be a Q&A opportunity after the panel discussion.

Join us ONLINE on June 10th, 2026, at 7 PM.

An honour to join the inaugural class of Prevention Link’s Level 6 Occupational Disease!

For far too many workers, exposure at work leads to life changing illness. When workers find themselves in this vulnerable situation, having trained advocates who can support them and help navigate the WSIB system is imperative - and this is where our WSIB courses and training are so invaluable!
The wealth of knowledge from Instructors Monia and Jody, in addition to strong worker advocates from several different unions in attendance was amazing. These workers are fighting for workers everyday - and winning.
