⚠️ E-Scooter Safety Reminder
As a friendly reminder, storing and charging e-scooters inside apartment units may pose a fire safety risk due to the lithium-ion batteries they contain.
The City of Toronto has responded to several fires related to battery-powered mobility devices, highlighting the importance of proper storage and charging practices.
Where possible, residents are encouraged to store e-scooters in the parking garage and to always follow the manufacturer's charging guidelines.
