The officers and members of The Beaches Lodge held their OV in Claremont on Monday, which featured two young Masons proudly proving themselves, followed by a presentation by Lodge Historian RWBro Graeme Boyce on the complexity of the War of 1812 and the role of Masons, and Laura Secord. In his closing remarks, RWBro Daniel Fallows relayed to the brethren the importance of The Village at Black Creek and, in particular, the lodge room that is manned by volunteers (via The Heritage Lodge) who answer many thousands of questions from visitors each season. A great night, enjoyed by all, that began with a great meal.
