From humble beginnings, The Rex Hotel Jazz & Blues Bar has grown into a musical mecca presenting 19 shows per week. The casual atmosphere, eclectic mix of retro-chic decor, and an exciting variety of draught beer combine to make The Rex feel like a second home. This week’s feature show brings Mark Kelso’s Mystic Isle Project to The Rex for four nights, Wednesday through Saturday at 8pm ✨

The acoustic quartet features music written for and dedicated to Kelso’s birthplace of Belfast and its surrounding areas in Northern Ireland, including music from his recording The Antrim Coast, a 2025 JUNO jazz nominee, brought to life by Luis Deniz, Mike Downes and Ewen Farncombe.
