The brand-new Food Network series Pitmasters (premiered tonight July 13, 2026) as a raw, high-stakes, week-long live-fire competition filmed in the Visit Utah wilderness. Departing from traditional indoor kitchen sets, this series forces competitors to build their own offset setups from scratch using cinder blocks, grates, and live fire, battling physical fatigue and the elements. 

Host and lead judge Andrew Zimmern dropped a mid-cook curveball where teams were given just 60 minutes to pivot and engineer the “perfect one-bite BBQ dish”.
