Ian Drummond has amassed a collection of vintage clothing, footwear, accessories, textiles and ephemera over 25 years. Much of it is dedicated toward rental via the Ian Drummond Collection to film, television, theatre productions, and print publications. The collection runs the gamut from period historical clothing, with a strong focus on the 1920s-1990s and comprises everything from broken-down i

In those we offer a wider variety of fashion-related items, such as tear sheets from vintage fashion magazines suitable for framing; jewellery and sewing items sold off in great de-stashing lots; vintage textiles such as hand-loomed Victorian blankets and fine linens; and curtains, fabric, sewing patterns and anything that's worth passing along to other fans of vintage fashion. The collection is available during warehouse hours, or by appointment. Ian is always looking to add to the collection. Ian talks about his time working as the BG costume coordinator on Hairspray (2007) with costume designer Rita Ryack. It was one of the most fun films for him to work on!

Arthur Rowsell was the assistant costume designer on the project and brought Ian on board after they had previously worked together on a number of productions including The Sentinel (2006), 1-800 Missing (2003-4), Jake 2.0 (2003-4), True Blue (2001), And Never Let Her Go (2001) and The Women of Camelot (2001).

Ian bought a lot of the 60s vintage clothing stock from the movie when it wrapped. We previously posted a video about that, which we will link again in stories.

The make-up effects designer who built the body suit for John Travolta to wear underneath his character Edna’s costumes was Tony Gardner (seen in the picture inserted).

Teenage S*x and Death at Camp Miasma is having its world premiere today at Cannes! Written and directed by Jane Schoebrun , this slasher stars Gillian Anderson and Hannah Einbinder. It has been nominated for the Q***r Palm. The rest of us will have to wait until August 7th for the theatrical release!

It was filmed last Summer in BC and the costume team rented some vintage hats and loungewear from us for Gillian Anderson.
