(BBQueen) Cumulus Clouds
It fills our hearts with lots of delight when meeting people like Leslie, who has great sensitivity to art, and chose to stay in our B&B in order to be surrounded by it. In fact some guests that have stayed with us before did connect directly or indirectly with art. Either they are artists themselves, or their relatives are. Leslie mentioned her brother Greg, who lives in Saskatoon, is a self-taught landscape painter. We saw from his web site this recent painting Slow Formation of Cumulus Clouds, which measures 7 ft by 5.5 ft.

(BBQueen) Art humming
Jonathan, a curator from Ottawa, was in town to supervise the installation of the exhibition - Vera Frenkel: Ways of Telling. He had a very busy schedule but happy to stay in our place. It was a comfortable walk within 10 minutes to MOCCA, where he worked for long hours. Vera also lives around the corner and our place has become her favorite meeting point to lodge professional friends.
