I haven’t posted a personal post in some time. I will be commenting on that come the fall. But these two beautiful people have stayed at my B&B more than anyone - Deb and Barry. I love them like family. And on almost every occasion their beautiful dog Sitka came with them. I made, what some called a joke but meant it when I said “if anything ever happened that required you needed someone to care for Sitka, I will.” Well sadly, today I receive a text saying that Sitka has passed away.

My deepest condolences Deb and Barry. My heart is heavy today. I can’t imagine how heavy yours are. I’m sending you all the love and healing care I can from one of our favourite places. The spot where that photo was taken on the last day of your most recent stay at Bramasole - my front porch. The six of us had many a wonderful time there. I hope when you come back in October that Maggie and Quinn will help cushion your loss a bit. And I know Quinn will be confused too as he and Sitka became suck good buddies. All my love!!!
