A great thing to do while visiting Twillingate
WELCOME!
I hope you are having a great visit to the Twillingate area. Just noticed that the link to our website was down - and has now been restored.

The density of root cellars at Twillingate is a reflection of a vibrant community where livelihoods depended on getting the most from the land and sea to survive. For more than 200 years root cellars have allowed settlers to maintain this lifestyle. Few are in use today but those that are show continued traditions passed from one family member to another.
