FIRE BAN LIFTED

⚠️ FIRE BAN UPDATE ⚠️

The Saskatchewan Public Safety Agency (SPSA) has modified part of the provincial fire ban effective 11 a.m. on July 17, 2024.

🚫 The provincial fire ban will remain in effect for all Crown lands, provincial parks, provincial recreation sites, and the Northern Saskatchewan Administration District located north of the provincial forest boundary, including the 4.5 km burn notification area.

In general, areas south of Prince Albert will rely on individual municipalities, First Nation communities, rural municipalities, and parks to determine if a fire ban is required.

Each provincial park in the southern part of the province will continue to work with the SPSA to determine risk and implement campfire restrictions if required. We encourage all residents and visitors to remain diligent in preventing human-caused fires in all areas of Saskatchewan.

The Saskatchewan Public Safety Agency (SPSA) has issued a provincial fire ban for Crown lands and provincial parks, provincial recreation sites, and all land within 4.5 km of the provincial forest boundary and the Northern Saskatchewan Administration District effective at noon on July 11, 2024.

🚫 The fire ban includes any open fires, controlled burns and fireworks. If you spot a fire, please call 9-1-1.
